Plastic Shims

MI carries a full line of standard and semi-standard plastic shims from .003 to .030, and can easily manufacture virtually any design to customer specifications with little or not tooling charges.

Polyester (Mylar) film is the most common material for plastic shims because of its durability and relatively low cost, but MI is capable of die cutting shims out of numerous types of plastic film according to application requirements. Color coding is also a useful feature Metro can provide.
