Metro Industries has broad manufacturing capabilities and experience in converting of all
sorts of materials into custom and standard components. If your part or
product can be slit, sheared, die cut, extruded, molded,
machined, laser / water
jet cut, sewn, glued, laminated, or assembled,
chances are that we can meet the need.
Core Manufacturing Capacities
MI incorporates many machines and processes in manufacturing mechanical
component parts and products of three different configuration and shape
categories:
- Two-Dimensional Flat Shapes (stampings, strips, blanks, rolls)
fabricated from flat sheet or roll stock using
Die Cutting Presses,
CNC Laser or Waterjet Cutters, and/or
Mechanical Slitters or
Shears;
- Two-dimensional Continuous Length Shapes
Extruded to specified cross section
configurations;
- Three-Dimensional Parts Molded
and Machined parts to specified configuration.
Value-Added Manufacturing Capacities
MI also adds a number of other manufacturing skills commonly necessary to
supply completed parts and products fabricated using the above processes.
These include Screen Printing, Sewing,
Snap/Rivet/Grommet Insertion, Material / Adhesives Laminating,
Vulcanizing / Bonding, Heat Cutting, Rotary Hole Punching,
Kit Assembly / Packaging, Basic Sub-Assembly...
Obviously, the value of these services varies, but for those wanting a
product requiring die cutting, printing, and snap insertion to manufacture, for
instance, the value of a single-source with all those capacities can be
immeasurable.
Wholesale Distribution
In addition to our manufacturing capacities, we are also an established
wholesale distributor of a number of products not manufactured by us (like
O-Rings and Rubber
Grommets). Like the above, these product lines add to our overall
value as a supplier to many inasmuch as many of our customers continually seek
to consolidate their purchases of similar items with their most reliable sources
as much as possible.
